Playmobil

Taylor got a new toy yesterday. We had to go to the shoe store
because her feet (and the rest of her) are growing like a weed.
She's wearing size 5's already! I can hardly believe it. The
greatest shoe store is next door to an awesome toy store - so every
time I drop $ on shoes I go next door and spend more on toys as
well. These I just couldn't pass up - they're wonderful toys that
she can play with for years! She loved the giraffe and monkey - we
played for quite a while!

Just This & That

This was a self portrait!

Waiting for the Shot!

Taylor's 15 month Dr. apt. was this month. She passed the time
waiting for her shots by messing up their charts! She had a good
time... until it was time for her shots! She's very good about them,
though. She only cries for a minute - I think more from being
restrained than the actual shot itself. We have a very tough little
girl!

Fun at Mimi & PopPop's

Just a few pictures from a cook out we had at Charles & Joyce's house
the other day. The weather has been sooo beautiful - I'm thankful it
is finally starting to feel like fall!

At the Ironman

We went to the half-iron man the Sunday we got back from Michigan to
cheer on our friend Jen. She did great and finished strong! She and
I are now training for a half-marathon in January. I'm not sure how
it will go, but it is fun to get back into running again. This is
Taylor with Jen's husband, Jim and the big Texas longhorn!

Playing in Daddy's Office

We've had some wonderful weather the past couple days - you might be tricked into thinking its actually fall around here (I don't think the cold is going to last for long!) We sure have enjoyed it.

These are a few pictures from the other day when Taylor was playing in Eric's office. She decided to see things from the toys perspective - and got in the toy bucket! I especially love these pictures because you can see all the curls she's got going on back there!

"The Great Pumpkin"

I got lost the other day and stumbled upon a great pumpkin patch at a local church in Tarrytown. I met Eric there today after he got done working at the house and we let Taylor have some fun with the pumpkins! She had the most fun watching all the other kids run around. We thought it would be a great opportunity to snap "a few" pictures. There were a lot of people there with the same idea - it was a sea of cameras. I had a very hard time picking only a few pictures and I tried to select each one so that you would get an idea of how the evening went! The boy in the picture with Taylor is a little suitor that Eric chased away shortly after I snapped the picture! ;-)

My George

This is Taylor's buddy! George was a birthday present and we love him very much! He sleeps with us and when we wake up in the morning, we talk to him and give him hugs and kisses!

We Made It!

After one missed attempt at the zoo and armed with the correct operating hours - we made a trip to the Grand Rapids Zoo! Taylor had a great time looking at all the animals, we had a great time watching her enjoy herself and the Lion had a great time trying to make Taylor an afternoon snack! We made it home safely, without any worries and we're enjoying getting back to the daily grind. Sure did have fun visiting Grammy & Gramps... we miss you guys!

Run Jen, Run!

We have a friend participating in a half Ironman this Sunday and she has asked a few people to make index cards and deliver them to her husband so she can read a couple every mile during the run to encourage her. (For those of you who don't know a half Ironman is a 1.5 mile swim, 13.1 mile run and a 50-some mile bike ride). I couldn't do it, but I admire her determination! We'll be cheering her on but I thought you'd get a kick out of the card we made for her!

A Visit from Grandma& Pa

Grandma & Pa Follick came up to visit from Indiana! We had a great time and look forward to seeing them again soon.

More of Gramps' Antics!

Taylor got into mom's sock drawer so dad helped her put them on!

When Gramps Watches Me...

...I get into trouble!

Taylor doesn't seem to get into the cabinets when I'm around (I guess she knows I'm the enforcer!) But my dad's babysitting adventure included a rummage through the cabinets!
