Our Turn

This past Monday it was our turn to host a play date with our friends
Kailey and Taylor. My Taylor had a hard time with sharing her toys
at first but got the hang of it in the end. We had a great time
playing and look forward to getting together next week for some more
fun! These pictures aren't the best - but I thought they were cute.

Sea World

We had an awesome trip to Sea World in San Antonio yesterday. The weather was just perfect and the crowd was small - couldn't ask for anything better! Taylor ended up having a great time but by the way things started we weren't sure it was going to be so fun. She DIDN'T like the Shamu show - the music was ominous and the crowd was so loud she was not happy. She kept saying "no shamu" over and over and ended up on my lap with a death grip on my shoulder most of the show. She did warm up to it at the very end and really enjoyed the other shows we saw. Of course the animal exhibits were a hit and she really had a blast climbing the trees at lunch. All in all it was a great and exhausting day.

The "waggin tales" show was more fun - she was even able to sit with PopPop the whole time!

Watching Mimi feed the birds was a big hit! One even landed on Taylor's head - very exciting!

At the end of the day, Taylor did a little dance to show how happy she was to visit Sea World!

Of course, we got a Shamu doll - much better than the real thing!

Easter Weekend

We went to Lake Charles for Mother's Day weekend to visit Eric's grandmother. She was so thrilled to have us spend the weekend and we had a wonderful time visiting with family and friends.

We crashed a friends birthday party. This is Taylor trying to be a big girl and climb the ladder like Jenna - notice there are no parents around!! Yikes!

I spy her and come running over to lend a hand - about three rungs later she gets tired and lets go... good thing I was there! Little Monkey!!

A hot afternoon calls for a sprinkler run - mommy and daddy join in the fun!

All this fun can tire a person out!

Visiting Friends!

We had a play date with our friend Kailey and her sister Taylor this morning. We had a great time at their house, playing with toys and entertaining baby Taylor. The girls are getting into the "mine" stage and so we had a little bit of toy rivalry - nothing that wasn't quickly diffused! We're looking forward to getting together again soon.

More Weekend Pictures

After the walk on Saturday, Lindsey, the boys and Taylor & I went back to the ranch to enjoy the sunshine and take a dip in the pool.

March for Babies!

The walk was this past Saturday and what a success it was! Our team was one of the top family teams in fundraising and won best team t-shirt! We went to the ranch on Friday and spent the whole weekend with Lindsey and the boys - what a wonderful time! It was so awesome to see all the people walking in support of such a great cause.
