We Made It

We are tired, sore, worn-out and cranky... but we made it safely to St. Louis!  Today we unpacked the truck while Taylor ran Mimi around the hotel.  Tonight we'll stay in the hotel again and should be spending our first night in our place tomorrow.  Just wanted to give y'all an update!

Getting Ready for the Move

We went to our storage unit today to unload some things and to get some boxes to start packing but when we got there we realized we'd forgotten the key!  (our unit is all the way on the other side of town - no going to get it!)  We did buy a couple boxes to tide us over until next time we get out there but with our car full of things we were going to drop off at the unit - there wasn't much room.  Taylor was a good sport and rode all the way home trapped behind the big wall of boxes.  Here are a couple pictures I snapped with Eric's phone!

Taylor Swims!

Ms. Robin has a cool camera that takes pictures and video under the water!  Here is a video of Taylor mastering the swim-float-swim (with a modified version of getting to her float).  Taylor has figured out how to swim while having her face in the water as little as possible.  We're working on fixing that - but she's the best little starfish I've ever seen!

Just a Cu-tie Being Cute!

We made it back from St. Louis on Monday - these past few days we've just been hanging out around the house.  These are a couple pictures of Taylor at her best - just being a ham for the camera.

Caught riffling through my drawers

This is her microphone (a glue stick)

I asked her to make an "excited" face

... and a sad face!

St. Louis

For those of you who don't know, we're very probably moving to St. Louis in the near future.  Eric and I have been here since Thursday looking into his potential job and hunting for a place to live (an awful and daunting task!)  Taylor has been able to spend a long weekend with her Mimi & PopPop while Eric & I go through withdrawals (this is our longest trip without her!)  Here are some pictures of our trip and one of Taylor.

The very tiny pods in which you ride to the top of the Arch!

Views from the top!
(you can see Cardinal's stadium and the court house)

PopPop Dressed Her!
(yes, the dress is backwards)

ISR in the News

Our very own Ms. Robin and friend Brooks were on the news!
